The Ladies’ Morning Musical Club presents…

The internationally acclaimed American String Quartet,  now celebrating its 38th season, will be performing at McGill’s Pollack Hall on the afternoon of December 1st.

After spending much of November performing throughout Germany and Spain, the ensemble is set to begin December with their LMMC performance. The quartet members, Peter Winograd (violin), Daniel Avshalomov (viola), Wolfram Koessel (cello), and founding member Laurie Carney (violin), will be joined for this special concert by guest artists Roberto Diaz (viola) and Andrés Diaz (cello). The concert will feature: Strauss’ string sextet from the opera Capriccio, Op. 85; Brahms’ string sextet in G major, Op. 36; and Tchaikovsky’s string sextet in D minor, Op. 70, “Souvenir de Florence”. Please be advised the programme is subject to change.
