Country: Italy A.P.E. Parente is a newcomer to L’International des Feux Loto-Québec, but the Parente family is far from being new to the pyrotechnic art as the family started its activities in the 19th century and founded the company in 1987. A.P.E. also participated in various international fireworks in Canada and Spain, and grabbed first prize on several occasions. In Montréal, A.P.E. presents a fireworks extravaganza of spectacular effects, fabulous colour shades and shapes in absolute synchronicity with rock music. The soundtrack revisits rock history from the early days of rock‘n’roll with Bill Hayley and the legendary Elvis Presley to the British Invasion of the sixties with bands such as the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. The soundtrack continues with the era of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd to contemporary rock styles such as heavy metal, punk rock, new wave, and more. The fireworks start at 10 p.m., rain or shine.
