Ballo in Maschera

Boris Brott is the Artistic Director and
Conductor of The McGill Chamber Orchestra

The McGill Chamber Orchestra will present the 2nd edition of Un Ballo in Maschera: a real Masked Ball on October 29 at 6:30 pm in the Picasso ballroom of the Sofitel hotel. This highly anticipated Benefit Gala, presided by Eric Bujold (President of National Bank, Private Wealth 1859) will be the “see and been seen” event of the year.

Guests of event will enjoy an open bar, appetizers and a jazz trio during the cocktail and a four-course gourmet dinner specially conceived by the renowned chef Olivier Perret of the Renoir restaurant. The evening will also include a concert by musicians of the MCO featuring popular opera excerpts performed by Soprano Sharon Azrieli Perez; Baritone Christopher Dunham and Soprano Marianne Fiset.

The concert will be followed with dancing to end the night. Throughout the evening there will be a silent auction with desirable items such as an all-inclusive trip to Cancún. Last year’s inaugural event was a terrific evening, and this unique event is an opportunity to have fun and mingle with the McGill Chamber Orchestra musicians while supporting a worthy cause.

Tickets are $275 per person, and a donation receipt for the permissible amount will be issued. After last year’s successful event, tickets are selling quickly, and should be purchased by October 16. In the spirit of Halloween, don’t forget your mask! For more information or to reserve tickets, call 514 487-5190 or [email protected].
