Using masks, Love, Child is the story of Lina and the men and women in her life who influence the woman she is today. Creator/performer Anana Rydvald portrays Lina at four stages of her life along with 7 other distinct characters. Going back two generations, and dealing with themes of motherhood, abandonment, religion and reconciliation, Love, Child addresses how we forgive others so we can move on. Though dealing with serious issues, the characters are zany and playful, with colour and energy transforming the subject matter.
