The Festival International de Jazz de Montréal presents, as part of the Jazz All-Year Round series presented by TD,

Rufus and Martha Wainwright’s Noël Nights

Rufus and Martha Wainwright will return this coming December 5 and 6 with a new edition of their magnificent Christmas show in the Maison symphonique de Montréal: Rufus and Martha Wainwright’s Noël Nights with family and guests.

After last year’s incredibly successful Christmas-themed benefit concert, the Wainwright siblings will once again assemble the crème de la crème of the music scene in celebration of the holiday season. This will be a very special edition of the concert, as it marks the 10th anniversary of the album The McGarrigle Christmas Hour by Kate and Anna McGarrigle, which began the family tradition of holiday-themed concerts.

Unlike previous editions, which also featured a performance in the U.S., this year Montreal will be the exclusive host of this grand musical event. And this year’s show welcomes an all-star guest list: Rufus and Martha Wainwright, Anna McGarrigle, Loudon Wainwright III, Emmylou Harris,  Robert Charlebois, Jorane and Kid Koala will take the stage, along with Daniel Bélanger (December 5) and Louis-Jean Cormier (December 6), all of whom will brighten this unique evening, with all profits donated to the Kate McGarrigle Fund, which supports cancer care and research at the McGill Unversity Cancer Centre and the teaching hospitals of McGill University.
