Beatrice Rana won first prize in the 2011 Montreal International Musical Competition. Her impressive maturity and complex musical personality never fail to move listeners.

Twenty-two year old Beatrice Rana has shaken the international classical music world already and aroused admiration and interest from concert presenters, conductors, critics and audiences in many countries. In June 2013, she won Silver Medal and the Audience Award at the prestigious Van Cliburn competition, bringing her to yet a new level in her already very promising career.

The prestigious International Piano magazine named her “One to Watch” in 2013, and her artistry was highlighted again in the magazine’s “30 under 30” list in 2014. Recording label Harmonia Mundi released an acclaimed live CD of her Cliburn performances of Schumann, Ravel, and Bartók in November 2013, prompting Gramophone magazine to proclaim that she “possesses an old soul that belies her 20 years, and more than a touch of genius.”.
