A Taste of the Caribbean 2016

At the Isle Bonsecours Old-Port of Montreal

Discover the smells, tastes, sights, and sounds of the Caribbean! A Taste of the Caribbean presents a colourful program with concerts, steel pan music, carnival style costume parade, activities for kids, folk dancers, and of course, a tasting of culinary specialties from multiple Caribbean islands. Cultural presentations and craft vendors are also part of the event.

The 17th annual A Taste of the Caribbean features:

From Jamaica’s famous jerk chicken to the spiced Rums of Barbados and Grenada – explore the islands through your taste buds!

To complement the culinary experience, the festival showcases various international acts and artisans within a marketplace setting. TOTC is a gateway to the West Indies through a presentation of steel pan music, Calypso singers, arts and crafts, Caribbean orchestras, folk singers and dancers, and a colourful Trinidadian style street carnival not to be missed!
