A declaration of love… to life, cinema, and outstanding movie scores

Country: Spain

It’s the third participation in the Montreal competition for Ricasa that grabbed the Bronze Jupiter, in 1998 and 2005. With a tradition of 135 years, Ricasa is a company based near Valencia in Spain that is renowned worldwide for the quality and artistry of its fireworks. Today, the grandson and great-grandson of the founder are directing the company. Over the years, they created displays that have illuminated the skies at Olympic Games, Pan American Games and New Year celebrations. This time around in Montreal, Ricasa presents a declaration of love to life, cinema and outstanding movie scores. Drawing a parallel between the ages of man and the moods created by a great soundtrack, the programme explores the themes of innocence, discoveries, identity and triumph. This outstanding pyromusical experience features music from Batman, The Godfather, Alice in Wonderland, Flashdance, Avatar, Game of Thrones, and more.
