A not-to-be-missed event in Old Montreal on the occasion of Montreal’s 375th anniversary, Encounters in New France is a unique experience for those looking to have some fun at a festive springtime market!

Learn what daily life was like in the city under the French regime, meet characters that played a part in our history, and admire the know-how of the First Nations. The whole family will enjoy listening to strolling musicians and spending some time with the craftspeople and street performers at the heart of this huge celebratory happening!
