Beat the long weekend traffic – stay in town Friday night to help the Sun Youth Summer Day Camp program

Cadillac Music is bringing their high energy mixture of rock ‘n’ roll and R&B classic hits back to The Wheel Club in NDG on Friday, June 23. A good time was had by all during the previous shows, and the guys are looking forward to another fun sing-along night of the hits from the 50s, 60s and 70s.

Sun Youth CampSun Youth has an excellent Summer Day Camp program for inner city children that keeps them active and entertained during July and August. Everything from sports activities to tending rooftop gardens. The benefit show will feature a Silent Auction, a Half ‘n’ Half draw and lots of good feelings about helping less fortunate families.

The audience enjoys the performance and keeps the dance floor packed, singing along with the songs that everyone knows by heart. They’ve added some ‘new’ hit songs from the 60s and 70s to their repertoire, and are looking forward to introducing their versions of Happy Together (The Turtles), Sweet Soul Music (Arthur Conley) I Can’t Help Myself (The Four Tops), and the very funky Wilson Picket hit 634-5789, along with lots of good old rock ‘n’ roll.

Cadillac Music has built up a solid following at the legendary club on Cavendish in NDG. Friday nights are devoted to rock ‘n’ roll, and dancing the night away to the hits from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. There was an innocence and vitality to the music of The Drifters, The Beach Boys, Elvis, and The Beatles. Rock ‘n’ Roll was played alongside Rhythm ‘n’ Blues on the radio. The six musicians of Cadillac Music were part of that scene, performing at dances, clubs and concerts.

The first set gets underway at 8:30. Tickets at just $10 and available at the door or by telephone.

The Wheel Club is located at 3373 Cavendish, on the east side – just below Sherbrooke.  Admission is just $10. To reserve tickets please call Peter after 5pm: 514-983-2200. Follow Cadillac Music on Facebook or www.cadillacmusic.ca
