Craig Ferguson: The New Deal Tour

Craig Ferguson is the host of The Craig Ferguson Show on Sirius XM and, of course, was one of the best late night hosts on TV for 10 years on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on CBS.

On top of his success on TV, Craig Ferguson has also remained a massively respected and loved standup, with four hugely successful specials under his belt, including the Grammy nominated Craig Ferguson: Just Being Honest in 2015.

Now Ferguson is coming to Montreal and Just For Laughs as part of Craig Ferguson: The New Deal Tour. Don’t miss the opportunity to attend the show that has taken the comedy legend through sold out theatres all over North America. Especially because this show will be tapped as a live comedy special for Netflix, and you can be in the audience!

Craig FergusonCraig Ferguson entered the world of late night comedy following a diverse and eclectic career that encompasses film, television and the stage. In December 2014, Ferguson concluded his ten-year run as the host of CBS’s The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, which set all-time viewer records, earned him a Primetime Emmy nomination and a 2009 Peabody Award. As the host of Celebrity Name Game, Ferguson was awarded the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Game Show Host two years in a row. This year he was nominated for a third Daytime Emmy Award. As of February 2017, Craig launched his new SiriusXM program The Craig Ferguson Show which is broadcast live on Comedy Greats every evening.

After several stints on the English comedy circuit, Ferguson first brought his act to America in the short-lived ABC comedy Maybe This Time. After the show ended, ABC decided to add him to The Drew Carey Show, playing Drew Carey’s boss, ‘Nigel Wick,’ from 1996-2003 and he never looked back! Ferguson has performed for sold-out audiences at Carnegie Hall and New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. In 2016, he toured North America with his stand-up show The New Deal Tour. Additionally, Craig has four widely acclaimed stand-up comedy specials.

As for the big screen, Ferguson wrote the feature films The Big Tease and Saving Grace and directed/starred in the 2003 feature I’ll Be There. Ferguson’s other film credits include Niagra Motel,  Life Without Dick, Born Romantic and more. He has also done voice work in How to Train Your DragonHow to Train Your Dragon 2, Disney’s Winnie the Pooh, and Brave.

Ferguson is a bestselling author after the debut of his first novel Between The Bridge and The River, in 2006.

He also serves on the board of the Lollipop Theater Network, whose mission is to bring movies currently in theatrical release to hospitalized children facing chronic and life threatening illnesses nationwide.
