Orchestre symphonique de Montréal presents

150 Years of Canadian Confederation

Andrew Wan, concertmaster, and Neal Gripp, principal viola of the OSM, give stand-out performances in Mozart’s glowing Sinfonia Concertante. To mark the 150th anniversary of Canada’s Confederation, Matthew Ricketts’ new work celebrates an icon of this country, the train. The railway also plays a central role in The Railrodder (Gerald Potterton, NFB, 1965), starring Buster Keaton.
